How much will a website cost?

This is a question we are asked all the time. Unfortunately, there is not one standard answer. It all depends on the needs and wishes of each individual client. If the client requires a standard website, the price is less than a site that includes elements like Flash, a content management system, a shopping cart for e-commerce or other additional features. Every project is unique and evaluated and customized to the client. Our prices are extremely fair and reasonable – we deliver excellent value.

How long will it take to create my website?

Again, each project is unique and the timing is based on the complexity of the design and technology required. Usually, the timeframe from the first meeting until the website is approved is four weeks. However, depending on the situation, it is possible to cut the time substantially. If the client requires a rush job, budgeting is agreed on prior to starting the work. During the initial meeting, we can provide an estimate of the timing for the project.

What if I already have a website design?

That gives us a great starting point. We will give you our honest opinion and see if we can add any value to the existing site.

What if I have a design concept but need creative help to execute it?

This is our specialty - we translate our clients’ visions into reality.

How do I get a domain name?

We can register your domain name and manage it for you. If you want to take care of it yourself, we would be more than happy to guide you through the steps.

How do I get hosting?

We offer a basic hosting package that has been highly effective in meeting all of our clients’ needs. If you would like us to host your website, we will set up an account for you and provide some quick training on how to manage your hosting account. We will also show you how to set up your e-mail accounts.

What if I have my own website hosting provider?

If you have your own website hosting provider, we will require the information for your hosting account at the start of our relationship. Some technologies we use depend on the type of hosting account you have. If we recognize any issues with the type of account you have, we will explain the issues and offer solutions.

If you would like to switch over to our hosting service, we will look after transferring any existing data from your current hosting provider.

Who makes up your quality and assurance team?

Because the developer has been working on your site from the beginning, we bring in a fresh pair eyes for our Q&A team.

Our Q&A team is comprised of an English professor at Seneca College, a master's student in speech-language pathology, as well as other professionals, depending on the size of the project.

In addition to our team, we also use different online software tools that test for W3C compliance, dead links and any type of site error.
